NEWS Seoul Mobility Show, UAM·PAV Aviation Mobility Special Exhibition Hall

From the 31st of next month, you will be able to meet aviation mobility, the core of the future transportation system, at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show, which will be held at the KINTEX Exhibition Hall in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.

The Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee announced on the 24th that it will operate a special aviation mobility hall at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show.

This special hall was promoted in collaboration with the Organizing Committee and the Aerospace Research and Convergence Institute to revitalize the aviation mobility field. A total of five organizations and companies, including Aerospace Research and Convergence Institute, VSpace, H3R, MBC, and FiberPro, plan to introduce UAM, PAV (personal aircraft), batteries, and high-precision GPS terminals to visitors.

Among them, the Aerospace Research and Convergence Institute will introduce its own UAM demonstration platform construction project and promote the 2023 K-UAM Conpex exhibition in Incheon in November.

VSpace will present 'V-SPEETTER', a vertical take-off and landing PAV based on an innovative electronic propulsion system, at this mobility show. Also, V-POWER LIFEPO4 BATTERY, which combines battery voltage stabilizer, AGM lead-acid battery, and black box auxiliary battery functions, will be unveiled.

H3R plans to list secondary batteries that can be used for future mobility, AAM parts such as personal mobile devices, electric propulsion systems, and energy storage systems, and high-power and high-efficiency batteries in the mobility field.

MBC will present the GPS receiver "SMC-2000" with ultra-precision positioning technology RTK, which narrows the error level of GPS to cm units based on know-how in broadcasting technology and IT services.

FiberPro will introduce optical-based gyroscopes and inertial measuring devices, which are essential parts for autonomous driving systems and UAMs.

An official from the organizing committee said, "We have prepared this joint to show not only electric vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and individual transportation, but also future mobility that is developing in various forms such as UAM and PAV," adding, "In particular, it is very meaningful in that it introduces a wide range of mobility beyond spatial restrictions."

Meanwhile, the organizing committee has changed the name of the event from the Seoul Motor Show to the Seoul Mobility Show since 2021 in consideration of the expansion of new mobility fields such as future cars, robots, and MaaS.
